Free spirit

The following words were prompted by a re-reading of my blog ‘Real reality’, which has been transferred to the ‘Thought piece’ Scaligero.
Free spirit
Without the ‘I’ the world would be indiscriminate and One. Our world in all its diversity is a product of the ‘I’.
But the thought that the ‘I’ brings to this moment of discrimination is always lost, leaving the completed entity to confront us as a pre-made, given reality.
Hold on to the fleeting ‘I’-generated thought because it is there that the potential for freedom lies.
Any limit to freedom found outside us is a limit that exists within us. Only thinking, or the spirit, can be free. The apparent freedom of a desire, or of an instinct, is man’s true prison.
