Corrupted by Urizen
Understand the dichotomy before Imposing good
Dr John Dunn 2022.
Restored understanding of dichotomy is the point behind the blog most recently transferred into the archive; and the dichotomy in question is the only one that counts - good v evil.
Zarathustra first recognised the dichotomy, and it has been at the heart of true political, philosophical and religious understanding ever since.
Zarathustra/Eros went down the mountain alone.
An awakened one is Eros: what will you do in the land of the sleepers?
Could it be possible! They have not yet heard of it, that God is dead!
Teach them Eros! Tell them where you’ve been.
I climbed the heights to look down upon the Synagogue of Satan.
You think you see the Creator, but He is not an entity apart.
Corrupted by Urizen, the world has lost sight of the dichotomy, which must be understood anew.
On the one hand there is the originatory principle of Love.
On the other there is the principle of Ananke the feminine-demonic substance, the infinite and interminable cycle of oneness, entropic death, of which the representative to man is Urizen.*
There is good versus evil.
It is necessary to restore this conception of the good as being the justification and highest consecration of any hegemonic aspiration to power.
What clouds the issue are the left-right politics of the Ananke civilisation and its claim for this to be freedom.
The side of the good associates freedom with oneness with the Logos. The more the ‘I’ realises its free being, the more it is identical to the Logos. To be more human is to be more like God.

Supersession reversed Into the void
Dr John Dunn 2022.
Positioning the philosophical musings of The Mythology into a Biblical context - that is the thinking behind the blog post to be most recently transferred into the Archive. Read here.
The supersessionary nature of Christianity over Judaism is explored.
The temptations are Judaic, from a perspective that sees god apart and separate from man,
The blog moves on to explore the economic ramifications of what Karl Marx saw as the reversal of the Christian supersession.
At a secular level it is worth recalling the keen observation made by Karl Marx:
Christianitysprang from Judaism. It has merged again in Judaism... The Jews have emancipated themselves insofar as the Christians have become Jews... Thegod of the Jews has become secularised and has become the god of the world. (On the Jewish Question)
‘The god of the world’ - this god is the god apart, this world is the world apart. In a secular way, Marx is pointing out idol worship and devil worship. Christian supersession has been reversed.
This reversion to a Judaic perspective opens a space within which economic activity can operate, separate and apart from the Logos, i.e. devoid of ethical values. In secular terms, economic activity operates in a neutral void, with money as its neutral measure.
