YouTube message on Dr John Dunn. As an experiment in YouTube vlogging, I have pulled together my first attempts, all of them completed in an extremely low-budget manner on a Dragon Touch Vision 4 Lite camera, mounted on my motorcycle crash helmet. I will no doubt produce more in 2021, but I have yet to determine upon a satisfactory 'house' style. I also intend to steer clear of the more commonly covered subjects for filming.

John Dunn.

Motorcycle touring in Northamptonshire on a Royal Enfield. Motorcycling to Ashby St Ledgers.

Join me as I motorcycle to the village of gunpowder plotters and more.

On my Royal Enfield to see where history was made by a Scott water cooled two-stroke motorcycle.

I'm riding to Newnham, near Daventry, to see where Alfed Scott staggered the pundits with a motorcycle bristling with originality inevery feature. He did not convert the industry to open frames or to two-stroke engines, but he forced kick-starters and variable gears on a lethargic world.

By Royal Enfield motorcycle to see the burial place of Long John Silver and Peter Pan's Wendy!

I’m on my Royal Enfield motorbike in lonely corner of Bedfordshire, but there’s already some of the solitariness of the nearby Cambridgeshire fens about it.I’m heading for Cockayne Hatley. Below - Sylvia Oakley as Wendy in 'Peter Pan' 1921 (National Portrait Gallery)

In search of the Cardington Cross and other Bedfordshire landmarks

The quirky and out-of-the-way, as well as the iconic and well known. These were seen during a motorcycle ride in a little corner of Bedfordshire. I was led there by my love of old maps, in particular, John Ogilby’s Britannia, the first road atlas of Britain, published in 1675.
